1. Rental Agreement

This Agreement is entered into between Pro Bounce Rentals ("the Company") and the individual identified above ("the Renter").

The Renter accepts full responsibility for the rented equipment from the time it is delivered and installed until it is dismantled and removed by the Company.

The Renter agrees not to permit any person other than Company personnel to move, alter, reposition, or dismantle the equipment.

2. Safe Setup Area

The Renter certifies that the setup area:

  • is level and free of holes;
  • is free of rocks, branches, glass, animal waste, sprinkler heads, or other hazards;
  • provides adequate clearance from trees, fences, overhead power lines, buildings, and other obstructions;
  • has safe access for delivery and pickup.

The Company reserves the right to refuse installation if the setup location is considered unsafe.

3. Supervision Requirements

The Renter agrees that a competent adult (18 years of age or older) will supervise the inflatable continuously while it is occupied. The supervisor shall: enforce all safety rules; ensure participants are of similar size and age; prevent overcrowding; immediately stop unsafe behaviour. The Company does not provide supervision unless separately agreed in writing.

4. Operating Rules

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Shoes on the inflatable
  • Food or beverages
  • Gum or candy
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Alcohol or drug use
  • Glass containers
  • Sharp objects
  • Face paint
  • Glitter
  • Silly string
  • Confetti
  • Pets
  • Climbing on walls or netting
  • Wrestling or rough play
  • Flips or somersaults
  • Hanging from basketball hoops or safety netting

Any damage resulting from prohibited activities shall be the responsibility of the Renter.

5. Water Slide Safety

For inflatable water slides: Riders must slide feet first. Diving is prohibited. Only one rider per lane unless the manufacturer permits otherwise. Riders must wait until the splash area is completely clear. No climbing up the slide surface. Water pressure must remain constant during operation. Water must never be directed toward electrical equipment.

6. Weather Policy

The inflatable shall not be operated during thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rain, hail, sustained winds or gusts exceeding manufacturer recommendations, or any weather conditions that may create an unsafe environment. The Renter agrees to immediately evacuate all users whenever unsafe weather develops. The Company reserves the sole discretion to cancel or discontinue a rental due to weather conditions.

7. Equipment Care

The Renter agrees to exercise reasonable care and shall be responsible for damage resulting from negligence, misuse, vandalism, theft, fire, unauthorized relocation, or failure to follow safety instructions. Cleaning charges may apply for excessive dirt or prohibited substances. Repair or replacement costs resulting from damage beyond normal wear and tear shall be payable by the Renter.

8. Assumption of Risk

The Renter acknowledges that inflatable amusement devices involve inherent risks including but not limited to: falls, collisions, slips, sprains, fractures, head injuries, spinal injuries, drowning risks associated with water features, permanent disability, and death. The Renter voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks associated with the use of the rented equipment.

9. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the Province of British Columbia, the Renter releases, waives, and forever discharges Pro Bounce Rentals, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or causes of action arising from or relating to the use of the rented equipment, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

10. Indemnification

The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pro Bounce Rentals from any claims, actions, damages, legal expenses, or liabilities brought by participants, spectators, guests, or third parties arising from the use of the equipment during the rental period.

11. Medical Emergencies

The Renter agrees to immediately stop use of the equipment following any injury requiring medical attention and to notify the Company as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Delivery and Pickup

Delivery times are estimates only. An adult (18+) must be present during delivery and pickup. The setup location must remain accessible. The Company may charge additional fees if delivery personnel are required to wait because the site is not ready.

13. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations due to unsafe weather may be rescheduled subject to availability. Deposits are non-refundable except where otherwise agreed by the Company. Failure to provide access to the property may result in cancellation without refund.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be brought before the courts of British Columbia.

15. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior verbal or written agreements.
